How many PBEM's are you playing?

Just curious to how many games you all have underway at any given time. How many moves do you manage each day/week.

Currently I have 5, and average 3-4 turns a week in each. But I remember when I would have slots 3-12 filled and sometimes send out multiple turns daily...then Mrs. Tracer had a 'talk' with me. :D

I have two games going now, but often play three at a time and usually get a turn a day out ... the playing time gets quicker towards the end of the game as stuff dies, unless it's a really big game (Hi Jack!!) :D

vcr replay

Post by BORO »

I like 2-3, currently playing 4. I try to do a turn a night per game if my opponent is able to do likewise. However the VCR replay sometime takes 20-30 minutes to watch that cuts into my play time. I try to watch the replays on every turn, a must when your playing good opponents like Tracer. Nothing worse than deciding not to watch it and then while playing your turn come across a unit that has been blown to pieces, but from where with what?

I like to play medium to large games. So I try to space the games out so that they are in different stages, the early turn games take longer to play than games in the later stages in most circumstances.

And then theres your e-mail server, but thats a different story.:D

2-3 games usually. But right now 4. Turns 4-5 times a week.

Only two right now, and I'm averaging about two turns in each per week, mostly due to some problems on my end. Normally I prefer 4-6 games, with as many turns per day as possible (at least one per game, more if the opponent is up to it)
What, me worry?

I am finding that two games with around two turns each game per week is about it for me. The trouble is that I want to play it all the time.

3-4 ongoing games at all times.

About 5-8 turns / game and week, but mileage may vary due to interruptions of something nasty called "reality". :p

I prefer 2 games at a time, but often have 3+ going. I usually get a turn out the day I receive it so it makes for several sleep deprived nights if I have many more than 3 games going at once. zzzzzzz....

A lot of fun, but with all the commitments, its hard to find the time...equally hard to find someone who plays as poorly as I do so I can have a chance to win

5 battles ongoing currently, but about 3 months ago I had about 9 games at same time...and that was too much:rolleyes:

I try to keep 1 turn/day.

None :/

I used to play a couple of turns in the week, but that was before christmas.

And hotseat sessions, when both of us, enemies, lit our first cicarettes, and staggered away from the massacre, barely alive.. And I don't even smoke anymore... :/

Well, things must change, soon, I hope!
