I got a couple books by my wife and my mother-in-law, namely E.B.Potter Bull Halsey and Anthony Tully Battle of Surigao Strait - nice additions to my library. Then some vouchers for the gasoline station - something which always comes in handy.

Most of the presents were to our little boy, and watching your son being excited by getting what he "has always wanted and need sooo badly" is the best present - a father can get.

Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U and a book.

I am at the stage in the life when the best part about christmas is watching my daughter opening her presents and go bananas of joy. Wonderful!

(Super mario 3D world is great!)

World War I, hmmmm.... The only WW I game I got is World War One Gold but never was able to get it to run - andit's not hex-based either. Let me know what you think about Commander The Great War, it sounds interesting.

Can't figure out how to attack with more then one unit. It is not explained in the manual, the Computer can do it so I should too. Posted in the appropriate forum but that looks dead for months.

I got two shirts. I don't ever ask for anything. I'm single and my sister is the only one that ever gets me anything. It was a rather poor Christmas (meaning hardly any of us had any money), but I don't like getting gifts. I am always glad to see others get gifts, though. Sounds like it was a good Christmas for everyone.

Why do you think the computer can do it Twotribes? You can only attack with one unit at a time - same as the AI.

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

Commander The Great War is a good WW1 game, however "out of the box" it has some ommissions and limitations as far as historical accuracy is concerned. There are a couple of mods out there (see Commander The Great War) in the forums that make this game even more historical and fun.

One at a time (e.g. three units v one) each of the three will have a chance to attack to the one individually.
