Minor Dow crash

Bloodybill and I started a new Global game using 1.08.3 on Netplay.

We are having problems getting past minor DoW. We had the game lock up twice during the German minor DoW phase. I play the Allies and I would see "US Entry" phase listed but no pop up screen and the green button greyed out on both of our screens.

The 3rd time we tried, it made it past that point but there was no US entry requirement.

Where the game actually crashed twice though was when I got to the Soviet minor DoW screen and had the "Claim Finnish Border Lands" as an option. I selected this and Bill got a pop-up for it, but the moment he clicked "OK", the game crashed. We are posting both of our "Allied - Declare War on Major Power" autosave. Bill will also post a screenshot.

So there are 2 issues here both having to do with DoW.

Load savegame and advance thru to the Soviet minor DoW screen and select the Finnish borderland claim. Once selected and sent, the other player indicates Yes and then click OK. It should crash at that time. By the way, Bill had aligned Rumania already so there was no Rumanian option available for the Soviets.

We will probably wait until the next patch that addresses these issues before continuing. We only made it to the 3rd impulse of the first turn this time. It is starting to get frustrating.

Oh..by the way, the game locked up on us too when I tried to do a surprise port attack against Kiel as the British in impulse 2 of the 1st turn. So we reloaded and I skipped doing that attack. Bill was able to successfully conduct a surprise attack on Danzig where I had the 2 Polish ship units and everything worked properly.

Also during reinforcement placement for the Germans, Bill could not place the Kiel militia unit into Kiel. This is the same bug I reported on for my solitaire game earlier. So something about Kiel is causing issues.
