John Tiller battleground civil war -- can't select units

John Tiller battleground civil war -- can't select units

Just installed JT BGCW and am anxious to play but I can't select units to move or fire during the respective phases. I'm using Windows 7 and the game plays fine in auto mode but in manual I can't participate. Is there a special something you have to do to select a unit other than click on it? The hex borders turn red when i click but nothing else happens when I try to drag or click another square. Any advice?

Have you tried clicking on the actual unit in the unit bar at the bottom of the screen? Individual units have to be selected to do anything. Selecting a hex that the units are in won't select any units in it.

I'm using Windows 7 too. Careful. Addictive game. :)
