This is the picture around Port Moresby and it is not good. PM is almost out of supply and only has 152AV at base. The large grouping of Japanese ships directly east is the KB. He is not attacking the base, he is just loitering and picking off anything that gets close.

Ok, within the next 2 weeks of game time I have to figure out what I am going to do for offensive operations. At this point I had been training a handful of units to assault Rabaul.

I am fighting tooth and nail for Suva and along the indian border and will fight hard for Perth and the East coast of Australia. Otherwise, I am still going to let the Japanese advance.

I realize that unless I will be forced to move up along the east side of New Guinea if I cannot take Port Moresby back. Therefore, I start to plan a massive assault of the base.

It is my intention to allow Gunnulf to build up the Rabaul area while I slip underneath and attack up through the Ambon area. This will give me at least 3 major directions to expand in instead of only 1.

I am using all of my PP to free up units from the East Coast and shipping troops as fast as possible to Suva and farther west.

I was planning on moving troops to Noumea and building the base to lvl 7 port for military operations but Townsville is a much better fit for my tactical decisions. Also, I cannot be sure that Gunnulf wont still pursue military actions in force in the area.

Suva is up to 519AV with a lvl 4 airfield.

Noumea is around 150AV.
