Thanks, I find that having the LCU/Air/Ship patches makes it easier to keep track of units.

Absolutely no disrespect intended to drw61 and his phenomenal efforts here, but I do have a question. Who has the more current allied ship files - Halsey's site or the files from May here? I have downloaded both and note different images for various units named in the same bmp files between the two releases. I have not done a complete analysis on the LCU (allied) but have noted differences in my perusals.

The art provided by drw61 is for DaBigBabes only, and the art at Halsey's site is for stock AE. The database in DaBigBabes contains numerous changes in the slot entries, that's why you see different images.

(I am currently checking the slots in DaBabes Lite, since I intend to use it for my AI games in the future.)

venividivici10044a,
First thanks for taking a look, a second set of eyes to find mistakes is always welcome.

As Hotschi stated this set only works with DaBigBabes mod. There is a lot of shifting of units in the DaBigBabes database which makes the original art from Halsey's site point to the wrong unit.

Thanks, Daryl

Reg has a current DOS tool with install prompts.
This helped me get as far as I did.
Here it is...

Use Reg's updated tool below this post.[;)]

Rotating Art Tool V1.5

Post by Reg »

Hi Guys,

Try this attachment as it is an updated version. Just unzip and run the installer.

This contains all my art utilities rolled into one application with an overall main menu. Sorry it's still a DOS application but it should be easy to use and the documentation should fill in the gaps.

Contains
* Aircraft and Ship Class Rotating Art management and distribution compiling tools.
* Unit Patch duplication Tool
* Rotating Aircraft/Ship Class installed artwork viewing tool
* AGP/LCU/SHP Unit Patch installed artwork viewing tool
* Documentation for the above.
* All under an overall main menu with (hopefully) an intuitive interface.

Download Version 1.6 with bug fixes two posts below....

Dang!!! The longer you look at things the more errors you find. [:(]

You may have noticed that the default image did not appear in the rotating aircraft artwork webpage when loaded from the main menu (it was originally written to be located in the game directory). The aircraft artwork webpage now can be located anywhere and displays OK from the main menu. - Fixed

MichaelM inserted a couple of additional fields in the WITPLoadAE utility which broke the unit suffixes on my Display LCU page. - Fixed

I also added some outputs to the Create AGP and LCU patch scripts so you can see what they are doing as they work.

If the graphics don't appear in the Firefox Browser, try Explorer.

The updated utilities can be downloaded from the link below. Just uninstall V1.5 and install V1.6 by unzipping and running the V1.6 setup program.

I Hope you find these utilities useful....
