Not sure why the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation would need an Ordnance Officer. [:)]

The rank of Conductor is that of senior NCO in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Looks like he got a commission when things were going pear shaped out there.

His son (my dad) went onto achieve the same rank but was never commissioned.

Sorry to hear that, Disco. Maybe they were Jack Mormons? [;)]

Now, those Cargo Cultists....I would keep my eye on them. I hired a Cargo Cult flooring contractor. I still can't find half the pots and pans and all the Spam is gone.

Ok, I had to look up Jack Mormon (and Jack Mason).

No, the ones I deal with are full fledged Mormons.

It is interesting how the word Jack turns into sympathizer.

This prace gordmine of food information.

Anyone have good recipe for fish head soup?

1. Collect fish heads
2. Put in pan/helmet/empty skull with water as warm as you can get it
3. Enjoy.

"Empty" skull? Where do you expect to get that nice iodine-like accent on your fish head soup without the brains? Noob. [:-]

They work hard and you can trust them. I kind of agree with Howard Hughes.

Of course, HH (according to his biographer) was done in by his Mormon aides and doctors flying back to Houston, which was overlooked by the police*, with them confusing milligrams/ml with micrograms/ml on a toxicology blood sample... hey, 1000x therapeutic level is OK, right? [;)]

*of course, maybe it was a transcription error by a tech and the police actually did check on it...

Well, maybe the magic underwear cuts off blood supply to the metric conversion center?

--32nd ID and 1st Marine have nearly reached Batan Is, so the galloping horde will push off toward Miyako and try to rendezvous at sea instead of ******* around at Batan Is. It won't work, of course...something always goes wrong...usually somebody stops to watch bioluminescent squid or there is some problem with union work rules, something like that.

--There are WJD subs arr ovah prace. We have 6 or 7 ASW groups plying the waters around Batan Is and Miyako and a couple of squadrons of medium bombers on ASW duty.

--Yorktown will arrive a hex or two behind the transports and pick up some CLAA's and DD's.

--Naha is now down to ZERO runway damage. WJD bulldozer guys are on Adderall for sure. All the heavies at Aparri and Batan Is. and the mediums at Miyako are ordered to attack.

--There seems to be a transport convoy still at Amami Oshima. The 3 DD's at Miyako are ordered to attack with LRCAP cover from the F6F's

--Some staff idiot let the supply dwindle at Miyako so we don't have ze drop tanks. LCT's unloading now.

--I ran out of chocolate covered almonds so I am switiching to the mint chocolates. Mint is supposed to be good for you too. I figure every 3 mints is euqivalent to one vegetable serving.

--That silver thing up in the sky over Nagasaki...that was a B-25 (recon version). First recon mission over mainland Japan. I think the LYB's shot her down too, because there is one missing. Same unit gets to recon another Kyushu base today.

Nagasaki has 40 Fighters and 68 bombers [X(] I wonder how many are Bettys? Could get ugly over the landing beaches. I suppose some are restricted units or trainees.

Pre-emptive blaming of the staff is in order. With all of the Christmas greetings being sent some will forget it is June of 1943 in the PTO.

It's nothing to do with transport - you subconsciously pre-empted Sprior's geneology post with the Mormon story -

BRT= Build a Relationship of Trust (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints missionary training).

There's some weird paranormal activity going on in here - or is this AAR just weird[&:]

Can you imagine pedaling around Ranchi in a short-sleeve white shirt, clip on tie and wing tips trying to convert Hindus or Muslims to LDS?

So what about all these airpranes at Nagasaki? Would this be par for the course in mid 43 Japan (Scenario 2)?

That should be just a small sampling of the stuff he has on the home islands. Then again, this game is being run so very strangely by the IJ, that who knows what he's doing with his troops and / or aircraft?

Just wait until IJ hits Seattle in a reverse Doolittle raid.[:D]
