Insufficient Movement Points Bug

Post by tacfire »

I think I have found a bug:

Sometimes when I accidently try to move a unit into a hex where there is insufficient movement points left for that unit to move into that hex, the game freezes up.

The only way to continue with the game is to reload an old saved game file.
This bug is repeatable. I have a file if needed.

I am playing with version 1.0.7 of the game.

Overall though - I am enjoying the game.
I have been slowly learning the game playing the Barbarossa scenario solitaire.

If this is repeatable, then please upload a saved game with instructions to this thread. Just zip the GAM file, and upload it to a post where you provide instructions on how to recreate the problem. Thanks.

It appears now that rebooting the game cleared the bug temporarily. However, after some time of playing it reappears again.
Therefore, I guess I am not sure what exactly is triggering the excessive movement point bug.

I will need to experiment with it some more to figure out exactly how to reproduce it.
