Need some help on importing Task groups

I must be doing something wrong because I cannot seem to import task groups and I know that everyone else can[:(]. I am attempting to upload one of the CVBGs that Kushan built, which I know work for several if not all people. No luck.

Started a blank scenario.
Made a side - NATO
Imported a facility just to re-affirm that I could do that!
Imported a CVBG
Note the 'Completed' comment in the bottom left

Close out of the import screen and nothing is there:

So in addition to checking the map I checked the OOB to make sure and the only thing there was the ANG base that I had loaded as a check.

Now I have made a bunch of Task Gps which I would like to use in multiple scenarios but can't. Could someone check to see if they can load these? They are Russian North Fleet 1994.

Ok, I compared it to one of mine(on left), looks like "MemberType": null, is the problem.

Ref you first question. Not sure but I just went in and re-saved them, I am on Build 481, DB402.

Ref you second post - Well spotted! Not sure what it means or how to change 'MemberType': null into something else. Do I need to go into the formation editor and physically set the stations? Or perhaps just let the game run for a few seconds before saving? Thoughts?

I guess I thought maybe you accidentally "Replaced All" in the notepad to the null, (There is a reference to do this type of thing in the instruction thread, but its referring to the "ParentGroupName" line)

Did you create these all "in-game" or did you change anything in the notepad?

Built them all 'in game' did not change anything. Just tried a test to see if letting the game run for a few seconds would help. It didn't. I'll try messing with the Formation editor to see if that makes a difference.

No luck there either. Still null in the Membertype field.

I got it to work, that null has to be replaced by "Command_Core.Ship" just like in above pic.

Not sure in-game what would do this. The devs might know or be interested

Thank you - worked like a charm, not sure why this happened but you have made my day. Next question - the files that Kushan uploaded tm.asp?m=3466348, some people have managed to load them based on the comments in the thread, but on the files that I downloaded there is the same problem. Could it be something that my machine is doing? Windows 8? Gremlins? [:D]

I will apply your fix to those files an send an update.

Interesting. I applied you fix but misinterpreted and put it only in the first ship.

When I did the import - only the first ship (the CVN) showed up, none of the escorts. All of the Air group was on board however.

Did a 'find and replace' now all is well. Your a genius Mr. Rudd

NP, don't know about Kushan's files or the Gremlins, lol

Careful with the "fixes", I've mucked things up so bad, where I had to start from scratch on large files, not so fun[:@]
