Help - game just disappears?

I recently reinstalled Windows from scratch, and also reinstalled Panzer Corps (Wehrmacht) then the 1.22 patch. So the machine ought to be super clean at this point.

Unfortunately I have seen several instances where I will be playing a scenario in single player mode, when the game just up and disappears. No error dialogs, nothing - screen goes back to the desktop and and the autorun game menu app. I lose all the playing I did after the last autosave.

Known issue? What can I do to help diagnose this?

Hi Jay,

I'm afraid it's not a known issue, so it must be something in your Windows which is causing this. It's not easy to diagnose these kind of events.
Have you tried with your anti-virus disabled? Can you identify any pattern before the game exits to desktop?
