Refueling and MIssion Waypoints

Post by Geckomeister_MatrixForum »

Hey everyone,

I am playing the South China Sea mission, and trying to bring my F-18's up from Singapore.
I setup the two existing tankers in their own support missions.
I have two groups of 4 x F-18s.

Each group I have manually created way points that pass through each of these "refueling stations", with the
last waypoint ending where my ships are engaging the Chinese PLAN.

I dont know if I am missing something, but one thing I have noticed is one of the F-18s will start to refuel.
The rest will start heading back to the last "refueling stations" and wont wait for the current tanker to become available.

Second thing is, I loose my unit grouping and the waypoints I set for them when they start refueling.
So I end up having to recreate the groups and their waypoints.
Is this normal? should I be setting up a mission and then creating reference points through each of the refueling locations?

How does everyone else get their aircraft from a long distance away to the AO?

Cheers
Gecks
