Assigning Staff

Morning All,
When I enter the 'assign staff to advance training' screen I am unable to select any of the subjects for the individual to study. I click on a subject but nothing happens, can anyone help? when I end season I get the message that I have one or more unassigned personnel.

Hello purstelldf,

Welcome to the SPM forums! Have you updated to the latest version (v. 0.7.11)? I remember that in 0.7.8 there was a dummy window for advanced training, which got fully implemented in 0.7.9. I think that might be the issue.

I just bought it yesterday the 1st and ran the update program right away, wouldn't this have included 0.7.9

Oh, I see. Unfortunately the auto-updater currently doesn't bring you to the latest version. Since Matrix closes down during the Christmas period, we have been releasing patches by uploading them into the beta testers' FTP (it was either that or stop releasing patches since mid-December until next week). Please visit this link in order to download the latest patch. It's quite straightforward: you should download an exe file that, when executed, will run an installer that will overwrite some of the files from your installation directory.

You can always confirm which version you're running via the main menu screen.
