Supply and troops are still flowing from the East Coast to Australia.

The Americal division is 2 days out from Sydney.

I have tasked 3 divisions and numerous support units to Port Moresby about a week ago. Invasion plans are set up tentatively for late May.

Up to this point, Gunnulf has had poor luck with his submarine forces. He has sunk a number of cargo ships but less than a handful of transport ships or ships that would give him any indication of my current plans.

In India, the amphibious assault of Akyab continues. I have 438AV there and 2600 supply. It appears that the supply will be the biggest issue to hold out.

In China the Japanese are slowing down although still making progress.

Sumatra is almost completely conquered along with half of Java.

I figured that due to the sucess of the bombardment of Akyab by the Japanese that Gunnulf would repeat the action at some point. I also noticed that Gunnulf was not putting out patrols that covered Chittagong and provided detection of ships and/or base information.

Therefore, I put together a large surface fleet with 4 battleships in the lead. I positioned it at Chittagong and then proceeded to bombard Akyab with a smaller STF. I am hoping that Gunnulf takes the bait and makes a raid into the area.

When he bombarded on March 2nd he had 2 battleships and 2 heavy cruisers. I will have 4 battleships and 2 heavy cruisers if we meet.

All in all the war is going pretty well.

I have managed to keep all of my carriers intact so far.

Men and material continues to stream toward Australia. The training for the Port Moresby invasion is mid 40's low 50's already for most units.

Although the main thrust will be toward ambon and the surrounding areas I dont want Gunnulf to know that. So I have to put pressure on the New Guinea area. He has a regiment plus another unit at Luganville and I really do not have the forces prepped to take him out. However, Ndeni is lightly occupied so I will make it a target.

Up in India we continue the fight at Akyab. I had the upper hand for a while but due to constant bombing and lack of supply my units are weaker than his AV and going downwards.

In other places such as Manila and north of Australia, Gunnulf continues the cleanup of islands not assaulted yet.

Ndeni was a let down to me.

I did manage to capture the base but I lost 4AP's, a destroyer and 1600 men and materials.

I think the biggest reason it was a let down was because I really didnt think the attack through. It could have been much better planned and gained me more favorable results.

Strategically I gained a victory by taking Ndeni. Tactically I lost due to the naval battle. But ultimately it was poor planning that caused the issues.
