The situation is as follows. Was happily running the game ver1.01 under Windows 8. Then made the mistake of trying to install some older games. Windows had a problem and seemed to need go through a recovery operation. Re-installed Command. It now won't play. I get as far as the screen with the B-2 on it but when I prompt it to Play. Nothing happens. Now running under Windows 8.1 and use "Classic Shell" as a interface over the new windows one.

Are you prerequisites installed?

If not you can find them in the prerequisite folder.
