Request to add AIM-120 to inventory of Israeli AF F-15A/B/C/D planes.

as per explanation in scenario section:

tm.asp?m=3513452

One source:

http://books.google.com.mt/books?id=wBR ... ar&f=false

Says all F-15 B and D in IAF were upgraded with e.g. Elbit DASH and AIM-120 AMRAAM capability by the time of printing the book (2007) and rest (F-15A and C models) by late 2007.

Another source, by Shlomo Aloni (he should know, being sort of expert about IAF planes, with pictures and moreinformation):

http://books.google.com.mt/books?id=q-c ... UP&f=false

Entries #2120 Yak-28PP Brewer E and #2166 Yak-28R Brewer D have the aircraft listed as carrier capable. This should not be.

Edit: Also Entry #2294 Yak-28PP Brewer E for Russia also has this listing.

Also noticed something else about the F-16s. Blocks 40 through 52 should be capable of mounting the AGM-154 JSOW (at least the entries spanning from 1998 to 2008 should be able to use them because the US Air force stopped receiving JSOWs in 2005 but still have some in inventory (I think)(correct me if I am wrong).

It would be great if you could post links or pictures for your adds. Sipri is a great source to see what was actually bought as well.

Just looking at your prior request. Some of these things never happened.

We don't mind adding things but when we have to delete things due to bad info it impact the scenarios players have made with them. So this is why we're extra careful about adding things.

Thanks!

According to Royal Navy website, HMS Astute submarine can use HARPOON. DB3000 only shows it using the UGM-109 TLAM and Spearfish ::
http://www.armedforces.co.uk/navy/listings/l0037.html

Also, the Valiant class and the Churchill class appears to have had HARPOON capability. See:

UGM-84B Subharpoon were at disposition from 1981 for all the UK SSN and retired in 2008 (except clearly Dreadnought), but not employed in the South Atlantic War (reserved for a hypothetical confrontation with WarPac?).

In 1981 HMS Courageous became the first British submarine to carry the Sub-Harpoon missile.

Suave-One way around the link issue is simply copy the address but drop the "http://www." part of it to your post. The software won't recognize it as being a webaddress, but the developers can still cut and past the link, adding the "www." portion.

Also just found something else.

According to the DB the F-35C has the AGM-158 JASSM as an option for a weapon.

Only the Navy never actually acquired any JASSMs

On japanese F-4 Phantoms again:

Sorry I have to say this, but they are ALL wrong. [:-]

DB3000 build 403:
#1194 - F-4EJ Phantom II -- Japan (Air Force), 1979-0, 140x
-needs to be named: #1194 - F-4EJ Phantom II -- Japan (Air Force), 1973-0, 140x
The first Phantom squadron was established 1973 (301st squadron)
-The F-4EJ didnt have IFR capabilities, those were re-installed with the Kai-upgrade program in the 80s

#1996 - F-4EJ Phantom II Kai -- Japan (Air Force), 1991-0, 125x
-needs IFR (boom)
-needs AIM-9L/P capability
-needs AIM-7E capability

#136 - F-4EJ Phantom II Kai -- Japan (Air Force), 1998-2014, 96x
-needs IFR (boom)
-needs AIM-9L/P capability
-needs AIM-7E capability

#1440 - RF-4EJ Phantom II -- Japan (Air Force), 1973-0, 14x
-needs to be named: #1440 - RF-4EJ Phantom II -- Japan (Air Force), 1979-0, 14x
-needs IFR (boom)
-replace AN/APQ-99 with AN/APQ-172

#805 - RF-4J Phantom II Kai-- Japan (Air Force), 1992-0
-needs to be named: #805 - RF-4EJ Phantom II Kai -- Japan (Air Force), 1992-0, 17x
-needs IFR (boom)
-add M61A1 Vulcan
-The RF-4EJ Kai is an upgraded F-4EJ as this replace all stats with those of #1996 (NO INTERNAL RECON SYSTEMS!!!)
The RF-4EJ Kais carry three different recon pods, but as I dont know how recon works in game mechanics you need to figure out how to implement them:
Seventeen F-4EJs were also converted to RF-4EJ configuration, which, while mounting no internal cameras, carried podded reconnaissance equipment. Among the systems installed were TACER (electronic reconnaissance pod with datalink), TAC (pod with KS-135A and KS-95B cameras), D-500UR IR detection system, and the LOROP pod (with a KS-146B camera).
From Wikipedia.

Some more missile errors...

SA-6 Min alt is incorrect

Should be 60ft (or 20 metres if you like) for the M3 variant - as in all those covered by the timeframe of this database version.

SA-8B and SA-N-4B are the same missile. Yet the naval variant has a min alt of 30 feet and the landbased variant has a min alt of 60 feet?? Both should be 30 feet, so both should have a capabilty against cruise missiles (albeit not a very good one)

#135 F-4 Phantom II [Kurnass 2000] -- Israel (Air Force) 1995-2004, 0
-replace 2x J-79-GE-17 with 2x J-79-GE-17C
-replace IFR (boom) with IFR (probe)
