Ctrl-D Display

Post by AndrewJ »

Hello,

A quick observation about the Ctrl-D distance measuring function.

When you use the Ctrl-D the distance information is displayed to the right of the mouse pointer.

However, if you put the mouse pointer over a unit (as if you were measuring range to the unit) the unit ID information pops up in the same place, and it's difficult to read the overlapping information.

Instead, could the Ctrl-D information be switched to the left side of the mouse pointer? Then you would be able to clearly see both the range information and unit information at the same time, with no problems!

Thanks very much,

Andrew

Great idea. I get by by offsetting my measurement by a few pixels, starting a few pixels below the start point and measuring to about the same amount of pixels below the destination. That still gives the correct distance and bearing.
