F2-manual setting re-appears (The Walking Depth)

I believe I had posted this already but cannot retrieve it to bump because my profile view "Last 50 posts" does not work, so:

Example is Submarine Operations, I assign a course (F3) and manually set depth to "under layer". Sub follows my orders.
I F2 again and uncheck the manual box. Close F2 window.
Look at unit info menu, still manual altitude is checked and AI does not change depth.
Uncheck "manual" on unit info menu, AI changes depth.

F2 again, window opens, immediately the setting reverts back to my previous selection, "manual" is checked within a split-second and sub returns to the last manually orderes depth (under layer in my case). Which is deadly at times, especially if your last manual setting has been periscope depth.

FWIW, I reported something similar for aircraft but never got acknowledgment of it being logged.

Hopefully such problems with the speed/altitude will be solved with the new interface. [:)]

I just reproduced the same situation under B460, and it is not resolved in full.

What does now work: unchecking the "manual" boxes in the unit info menu does allow the AI to change both speed and depth. BUT if I press F2 again same as described above: in the F2 window, "manual" is immediately checked automatically and sub goies back to my previous manually assigned values.

I will look into this in other scens I am playing these days.

Same behaviour with aircraft in the air tutorial, plus (but I believe this is logges already) when I F2 and speed settings immediately revert to previous settings the change in speed is also immediate. From afterburner to loitering in a second.

How's this in 465? Belive it has been resolved now?

I have no access to 465 beta, Rag, under 460 the issue "if I press F2 again same as described above: in the F2 window, "manual" is immediately checked automatically and sub goes back to my previous manually assigned values." is still an issue.
It might be included in the B465 fixes as per this thread:
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3427209, but that focus was a little different.
If you like mail me the access to 465 and I will check.
