LGB continues to home in without laser

Post by jbyng »

An F-16 launched a Mk84 LGB at my frigate from about 4nm away. Very soon after release the F-16 was destroyed. But it looked to me like the LGB continued a quite accurate track to the frigate, before being destroyed by my Goalkeeper. I don't see any other units that could have maintained a lase on the target, and the nearest land is 15 miles away.

Like my other post from this engagement, not sure if this is a bug. Does the LGB retain its original course before the homing laser is destroyed? How accurate would that course be, several miles away?

Save game attached. Thanks!

It will retain it's course, but it'd be long shot against moving target if there is considerable distance. Basically, AFAIK, LGB goes ballistic.
