How to post pictures in the forum

I've had somebody ask me how to post pictures on the forum so I thought I'd do a sort of tutorial on that subject. Here's what you do:

When you click the "Click here to upload" line you'll be presented w/ this little box.

EDIT: Notice that only certain file types smaller than a certain size are eligible for upload.

Once you click on the Browse button a new browser window will open and you navigate to the file you want to include in your post.
Double click on the file name to choose it. Or you can click on the file name and then click on the Open button below.

And then, after you choose your file you'll be brought back here and all you need do is click on the Okay button.

And then hopefully you'll get a successful file upload.

And if everything worked okie dokie you'll be able to see your posted picture.

It's part of it. There's a boat-load of icons further to the left edge of the desktop off screen.

And if everything worked okie dokie you'll be able to see your posted picture.

From my experience (results with different browsers might not be the same) you will not be able to see the picture using "preview", but only when you have officially posted your entry.

Also, at first the uploaded pictures will always be at the bottom of the post. This can be changed by going back into the post with "edit". You will see a line of code indicating the picture. Moving this line of code will move the location of the picture.

Let me ask you this. How do you go about shrinking the dimension of a tinypic for an avatar? I have one that is 7.82 kb. When I try to load it I am told that the image exceeds the dimension size.
