Changchun

Post by Dabrion »

Unsure it this has been reported, forum search comes up with nothing (useless tool btw).

Changchun (capital of Manchuria) is not a secondary supply source for JP units in Manchuria (only for Manchurian units). This eliminates an effective defense vs. a RU rush into Manchuria.

The relations panel shows Japan -> Manchuria is set to "Force pool", which should rather be "aligned". According to to scenario notes: "Japan has conquered China (east of the 1939 start line) and is aligned with Manchuria and Korea;". But then it is also in "Force pool" relation with Formosa, also an aligned minor, and Formosas capital is working just fine. I think it is a bug in the map script.

With this error and the constant fumble of supply calculation, this part of the map is unplayable! Fix it!

Could I get some education on the "Force pool" relation please? It is missing from the Players manuals.

Yes this was reported previously. Sorry I don't know on the "Force Pool" question.

Pretty sure "force pool" is one step beyond aligned. It means aligned and the major power has added the units forces to its force pool.

For instance after Rumania is aligned it shows "aligned" until you intentionally add rumania's units to your force pool in the production form
