Chinese Mole Cities

Post by WarHunter »

Was attempting to setup an Absolute Minimum game.

What i realized rather quickly is the cities are underground. They have somehow burrowed into the map like virtual moles. They still act as supply centers, but you can't see them. Using the supply path form it becomes clear Chinese units are going to be well supplied.

Verdict, Impossible to play a game without extra Chinese cities option. So i have to add it as a Absolute Minimum option.

Easy to reproduce.

Don't you think it might have to do with your custom texture pack?

The graphics mod should have nothing to do with supply. Then again anything is possible.

Anyone want to create a game without the extra Chinese cities and confirm or deny my findings?

WarHunter, not exactly sure what you mean but the cities show up on the map. Apologies if I've mis-understood.

I was trying to play without the extra Chinese cities.

Even though the option is not activated. The hexes where the cities are still give supply when they should not.

Makes it a weird option, if you play without the extra cities. When the Japanese take a city the roll for USE is a 4. But the Chinese supply is greatly increased across China. In fact Japan cannot cut supply lines without literally moving into every hex with a name on it.
Big Bug.

I've been curious to see if China without the extra cities will arrest the grand movements I'm seeing throughout China.

When it gets fixed. I'll test and see if the non-option works as well as the option does.
