Interface complaint: refuel/retrofit/loading troop

Post by terololo »

Maybe these things is the most annoying interface flaw in DW, when a plnaet is crowded or have a too large spaceport, it's a pain in the metaphorical buttocks to find a right-click spot that would finally "load troops->At Planet Zod", especially when loading troops. Yes i know i can just choose "at nearby planet" but sometimes it just doesn't work, believe me, instead of loading troops at Planet Zod, the transports proceed to load two troops at some backwater colony in another system.

Sometimes it' also hard to find a spot to right-click and refuel when the planet is full of those goddamn frigates, when i click auto-refuel they instead choose the nearest mining station to refuel lol.

It's a pain. Work around is to select the fleet to load troops, zoom out to sector view and right click the system, which will bring up the 'Load troops at Zod' option.

In my experience the load troops at colony command doesn't work anyway, they will still hie off to a backwater to fill their loadout quota if there's not enough available. So you might as well use the generic command in the lower left.
