Jimmy Buffett is coming to Raleigh in April. It's been 5 years since we last saw him. I can't wait! [8D]

Jimmy wanders down, now and again to Lulus. Back porch, feet up, nothing much else to do. Kick back and talk about nothing at all.

[ed] He really is what you get. Just the nicest guy you would ever want to know.

Tapas for dinner last night. Rabbit, escargot, pork bellies, bacon-wrapped figs, some excellent lentils and pulpo (octopus) to round things out. A nice traditional red sangria to round things out. Delicious! [&o]

Of course, my GI tract is finding a way to remind me to be less experimental with foods now. Ugh...[8|]

Ooohhh ! Tapas ! Alcachofas y Esparragos con salsa de diferente ! Ajo o naranja y limón ! Asparagus wrapped in ham (Envueltos en Jamón serrano).

Oh God, as an appetizer for a shit hot paella, it simply can't be beat ! I'm intrigued with the rabbit/escargo mix, and I really, really like the figs. Not quite so hot on the lentils, but that's just me. Yep, a nice spicy sangria will complement this well.

Where did you get the octopus from? Is that a Corsican thing? Woof !! Ciao. JWE

Forgive the impertinence of the Newby for asking a forum 'how to' question, but. I can't figure how to insert an image into a reply. I found a really cool photo of an A-20 pulling up from a skip bombing attack on a Japanese merchant, but just couldn't get it to insert.

Any step by step assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

El restaurante, Senor. Dunno about the Corsican connection. Forgot to mention the pepper prawns and excellent blue cheeses.

My friend ordered some veggie paella to take home with him. I tried some. It wasn't the same. I cried out "Where are the mussels? Where are the shrimp?" To no avail. [:-]

"Reply" or post a picture. Click the box "embed picture in post". Click "click here to upload". Select the .jpeg file in question from your 'puter. When that's done, it should bring you back to the forum post. Click "OK" and away you go. [:)]

I'm working my way through a man cold this weekend. Slept 11 hours Friday night and another 9 last night. Lots of water and sofa time. Enjoying watching some olympic action, 2 Hurricanes games, and several episodes from season 1 of Game of Thrones. I'm really gonna have to pick up those books and read them.

You won't be sorry. I got hooked on the books after watching season one myself. They're a slog (over 3500 pages for the first 5 books in the series), but extremely well written and immersive.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch more than season one before you read the books. As a matter of fact, I'd stop shy of finishing season one, lest you get into some plot twists.

Going to see the Lego movie with the family later today. Then swimming at the YMCA. Cuz that's what comes to mind when it's 1F outside-swimming. Sigh...[8|]

What an absolutely Bee-You-Tee-Full day to fly. 66F on the ground, 55F or so at 5k. 5kts from SSW for the 30m breeze, 6-8kt westerlies at 5k. Not a cloud in the sky, but for a puff ball, here and there. I'm in a thin cotton long-sleve over a golf shirt. Stayed mostly around 3k. The Navy guys were out in force and were looping and whirling and playing up around 5k. And, yep, fired up Mr Harley and rode the loooong way down to Barin Field to get my rental plane. Alabama is righteous. Ciao. John

Ok, I'm going to go for an NP. I really don't know how to do this, but I'll try.

Drat! The little thingy bar led me astray. I'm not a forum NP, or IP, or IMP, kinda person, so I'll just let this pass by and let a Thread guy capture the ring.
