SPWAW TACTICAL TRAINING CENTER now open!
Thanks to Bonzo's great efforts, 8 tutorials are now available as a package, and 3 are available individually.
Go to http://nwbattalion.tripod.com/main.html which is Bonzo's Main Page. Scroll to the bottom and find the graphic for the "SPWAW TACTICAL TRAINING SCHOOL" and click on it. You'll go to the tutorials main page and be able to download from there.
Thanks to all the talented desugners who made this possible, and to Bonzo for posting them. More will be available when Bonzo has time to update - when he gets done now there will be 9 tutorials and a page describing how to install scenarios.

Believe me, gmenfan, these will work and be included in 5.0. I will make sure each one works in 5.0 before I submit them to WB for inclusion. If the ones on the website do not work correctly in 5.0, we will just replaced them with updated copies.
And REMF, too bad I don't have a tutorial about using exit-hexes!

Just kidding - glad you like them Steve!

I think Bonzo is planning to have CL campaigns - I don't know about SPWAW stuff.

We already have The Depot, Fabio's & Tankhead's sites carrying SPWAW maps, scenarios & campaigns. I feel that they are providing fine service, so where could I improve?
The Training Center was something that I (& many others) thought about for a long time & is a good fit with my site. I hope that a Training Center for Combat Leader and future games will also emerge as we learn to fight in these new environments & have lessons to pass on. These I would also like to host with the help of knowledgable content coordinators, like Don.
I will also be looking to post maps, scenarios & campaigns for CL & future Matrix games if such become available.

Don,
Great work on the STTC.
I have a suggestion for the Tutorial #5 "Blowing the Bunker" section. You mention that we should "Now surround the bunker from the sides and rear." How about adding something to help the new guys figure out what hexes are the side & rear, as opposed to those in the front (in the LOS).
Now quit laughing. We all made this mistake plenty of times.
- some graphics are obscure enough that we can't see which end has the gun sticking out.
- "On the Bunker" hex is not the same as on top of the bunker; which is where most GI's would naturally go to be immune from fire while lighting the fuse. In the same hex as a bunker is being in front of the bunker's firing slit. Sort of like standing in front of the guns, turn around and drop your pants!
- How to determine the cone shaped LOS in front of the bunker ... the DANGER ZONE.
forgive the ascii art:
B=bunker x= LOS hexes

Thank you all for your support. But, due to the overwhelming (and much appreciated) response, Tripod pulled the plug. I will be pursuing my own domain & comercial hosting for my site & will try to have it up by the weekend.
I will now go beat my head against the wall, because it feels sooo good when I stop.

Be patient with us, 'cruits! Seems we have some growing pains to go through. At least I know you were downloading the tutorials! LOL
Look for the Center to be back up soon.

Hi guys,
Yep, Tripod pulled Bonzo's site for too many downloads, and he is in the process of getting his own domain name abd setting up his own site. The "Center" should be back up in a few days, plus the tutorials will be included in 5.0.
In the meantime, email me and I will send you 4 tutorials to get going with.
