the game single player and head to head? Information says 1 to 2 player. Just wondering before I decide to buy or not.

Yes - it uses the same kind of multiplayer server as for Conflict of Heroes. Once you sign up and register, you can login to the lobby and play a head to head game. Because of the turn system where players alternate activations, it was not ideal for PBEM but works very well for TCP/IP multiplayer. The server means no extra configuration required as far as things like firewalls or routers, just login and play.

No PBEM but you can play another live across the 'net using Slitherine's MP server.
Works well.
If your net connection drops or you don't have time to finish a game, you can meet again later and start up where you left off.
