Windows 8.1 resolution problem

[towerbooks3192]

Hi!

Since I upgraded to windows 8.1 I have been having tons of trouble with resolution with games. I have disabled scale DPI settings and I also chose the right resolution (native 1920x1080 for an alienware 14") but I still have some of the in-game texts and screens not fully displaying. I was wondering if there are any fixes for this?

Simple: Install Windows 7

I use 1366x768 as my resolution and that enlarges the screen for better viewing. This is a letterbox rez for wide screen monitors/laptops.
