Japanese Light tank Upgrades

I am playing Japan it is a PBMG we are in 1944 I have replaced nearly all medium tanks with the type 3 witch is nice,But my light tanks have not upgraded at all has any one managed to get any thing above the type 95.

I don't you know which scen you play but from editor, in Scen 1 and 2, type 95 light tank (778) don't upgrade at all.

Although Type 95 Light tank (301) upgrade to type 98 light tank.

Type 95 fought during all the war so I think it's why we are forced to keep them.

I still don't understand why it's possible to upgrade all units to Type 3 medium tank because they were a few too [&:]

yes but things are going a bit better than they did historically so I have a lot of production

In the museum at Yasukuni Jinja there is a type 97 tank

Up close...Nothing too impressive. I am sure if I was a peasant soldier with no anti tank weapon it would be scary...
But with some decent AT weapons or friendly tanks...It just does not have a nasty fear factor...

But with some decent AT weapons or friendly tanks...It just does not have a nasty fear factor...

Still better for attacking vehicle than fanatics with rifles and grenades.


Although I just watch and Type 2 is far better than Type 95 especially for range and armor.
