What an enjoyable game of Hockey that was yesterday! I think the Russkies got jobbed by having their winning goal called back on a technicality. But since it's the Russkies, I won't complain too loudly. [:D]

Perfect flying weather today. 68F on the ground, dry, no cloud cover. The WS, 10m actual, was SW at 6kts, veering to NW at 9 kts at 2k meters. Not a cloud in the sky. There was two flights that got off today. On the second flight, one of the young men from North Island, San Diego, let me fly his Thunder Gull. Ohhoooo, can you say jazzed? That was a serious righteous airplane. Only thing was it's a one seater, so I had to leave Beaudy on the ground. They fed him well, and he was right there on the hard, when I came back. Beaudy, the Wonder Dog.

No matter what plane you fly, your dog knows just which one it is. Don't even begin to tell me that they aren't intelligent. Ciao. John

US Federal Tax return done, submitted, and accepted. Enough withdrawn this year, but need to fine tune it back just a bit, return is too large, would rather have less in one lump sum and be able to put it where I want during the year instead of the US Federal Govt determining where it is kept for a year!

Also, ordered my 50 year old birthday present for three months from now. Wife can give it to me then! 1:350 USN CVL-22 Dragon kit. Stepping up from a DD, which is almost done.

Got to low 40 's today, enjoying getting out and walking the dog. Got a call from Mom in Southern Arizona. Mid 80 's and she's enjoying sitting on the porch soaking in the sun... for her all is as it should be.

Just think in six weeks we get to mow grass.

Back from camping in a snow bank with the Boy Scouts.  Temps dropped to @ 8F, wind was in the mid 50's with 70 MPH gusts [>:]  Thank gads it's a bankers holiday, I may survive Monday.
