Mortar movement

Post by zouave »

In the first scenario of the Soviet campaign, there is a mortar unit in a two-hex area surrounded by walls and a building. I can't move the mortar unit over the walls, or into the building hex, meaning he is stuck in that two-hex area. So I take it there is no option to pack up the mortar to increase the unit's mobility?

Much easier to move the mortar's spotters around the map :). I just played that scenario last night...eeked out a very tough victory on hard that went down to the last couple of dice rolls. I had 2 leaders down in the southern part of the map that could call in mortar fire to pretty good effect. The tank, on the other hand, will need to move to do any good.
The only problem with a zombie apocalypse will be pretending I'm not excited.
