changing resolution

Hi,guys.
cant wait for the new uber-patch to come out!!...one of my favourite games ever...anyway, can someone tell me how i can change the resolution in JTCS please?..i set it a bit too high.and everything looks too small. looking to change the rez down a bit

The new version (available Real Soon Now, but not yet!!) will adapt automatically to whatever your screen resolution is. Unless you are referring to the different zoom levels. Did you try pressing the (top-row) number keys 1-5?

thanks for the reply...so,theres no way i can change the resolution?
i know about the in game zoom keys.but im wanting to get bigger icons on screen.as everything is very small

If you are referring to the small on-map unit icons in "max" zoom-in 2D mode (4-key mode), yes, I agree that they are very small. It is one of my highest wish list items to implement a new, larger unit icon, zoomed-in 2D map mode.

So many things to do, so little time to do them... [:(]

As a kludgy work-around, you can reset your monitor to a lower screen res -- easy for me to say, and to do, because I have a dual monitor setup. When I want to play the game in larger 2D, I set the game monitor to a lower res, while keeping the other monitor cranked up to max res. It works, but not ideally I admit.
