New scenario. It's a very early Cold War operation involving two USN destroyers near the Shandong peninsula.

What's the set up/plot

The scenario features American destroyers and the fledgling PLA. Anything more would be a spoiler. [;)]

Interesting to have such an early scenario. Managed to get an average score on the first outing. I didn't see many aircraft unless that was intended, and even managed to shoot down one. Some nasty surprises. Even managed to accidentally shell some civilians.
Lost a DD to one attack, not so sure on the ROE. I suspect they have to be more specific?
You often detect targets and classify them only at very close range indeed, so I often found I was the last person to fire. With certain of the opponents that's too late realistically.

To be fair that might be intentional, and the ROE did let me open fire earlier had I wanted to.

All seemed to be working to me though.

I guess what I was kind of asking is United States at war with China are we at war with the Soviet Union? is this just a general patrol you know who's fighting who kind of thing that's okay I'm a try the scenario anyway
