Reinstalled as suggested, but keep getting this message.
Any recommendations as to either where to get audiere.dll or what I may be doing wrong?

I must have a bad download of the patch...
I added the file to the East Front directory and now get a different error.
I'll try the download again another day.
Obviously enough the audierre.dll is a new requirement with the new patch [:)]

Could it be your Antivirus SW is playing tricks with you, removing stuff into a quarantine?

Or could it be that you are "reinstalling" the patch over your earlier, working install?

We recommend that you start afresh, reinstalling JTCS 1.00 from original medium (file or CD), then apply the 2.00 Update patch. (And copy over your save files etc. as necessary.)

Are you?

I'll break out the CDs and try again sometime; I assume that I can start from V1.04 CDs and install the patch. I no longer think this is a problem with the patch, more likely operator error.
I did check and my anti-virus protection hadn't quarantined anything recently, so that's not the problem.

Yes, definitely operator error, as it works now.
