Melee status after Close Assault of vehicle

So there are two shaken Russian squads in a hex with a T-34. I send in two pioneer squads for a close assault (one has a flamethrower). I kill the tank. A melee marker is not placed on the hex, so a few impulses later the two shaken squads leave the hex.

Is this the way the rules are supposed to work, or a bug?

Sounds like a bug.... You should not be able to enter a hex with both infantry and a vehicle.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

The Russian infantry were both shaken. I had thought that the rule against entering a hex with both a vehicle and infantry in it only applied if the infantry were unshaken.

Clearly I thought so too, but yeah, it will cause stacking rules violations if you are allowed to, so I will change it.

After checking the rules (17.1 in v3) you ARE allowed to move into the hex if all shaken/non-melee units, so that part's right, but if you succeed at all the close assaults they are then eliminated in Melee. Fixing.
