Missing Russian sound

Playing an email game as the Russians I've noticed that the main weapon sound for my units isn't working. The submachine gun and pistol sounds are fine, and my opponent's (German) rifle sound is fine. Any else notice this?
Also...when I press VCR playback I crash to desktop. It worked fine before the 4.5 patch...

Sounds odd... never had sound problems though!
