Satchel Charges

Cant you use satchels on tanks?? I recently tried to attack an adjacent hex with a tank in it with guy with satchel and says...
Doesn't have anti armor capability or something to that effect...

having tough time with the game...like it...but, guess just don't know the game that well yet..
I get close to winning scenarios, but not quite good enough. wish would give small moral victories...lol

If the tank is buttoned cant use a regular small arms attack. Where a satchel is great against a tank is an assault. Infantry with a leader and satchel charge has a great chance of destroying a tank in assault attack.

Oh...Ok, I don't think I had the leader with them at the time...so that's why they could not do the assault attack with the charge against the tank?? Right?

No you can do an assault without a leader. To assault your unit(s) must pass a moral check. The leader simply helps him pass this check.

Jack, Its strange(wish would have done a save on this spot I took the screenshot of)...It would not let me attack the tank. I had the guys highlighted(they could do an action), but it would not let me attack the tank with the satchel...
on an earlier game I did an amazing melee on big stack of Germans in the factory and killed everyone of them(7)..[:D]
an got a panzerfaust(not really sure why they are in game but will take them..lol)...and was able to take out that pesky Mark IV with one of them...
Just really strange it would not let me attack the tank with a satchel when I was in an adjacent hex.

Did you pass the morale check? If not you are not going to be able to close assault.

Were there any non shaken enemy squads in the hex with the tank or on the tank? If yes you cannot close assault.
