Patch 2.00 Thank You Thread

John Tiller's Campaign Series exemplifies tactical war-gaming at its finest by bringing you the entire collection of TalonSoft's award-winning campaign series. Containing TalonSoft's West Front, East Front, and Rising Sun platoon-level combat series, as well as all of the official add-ons and expansion packs, the Matrix Edition allows players to dictate the events of World War II from the tumultuous beginning to its climatic conclusion. We are working together with original programmer John Tiller to bring you this updated edition.

On the other hand, we (the Beta Brigade) feel worn out.

So true.
Virtually without letup, and in addition to my regular "day" job, this second job has been the near central focus of my life for the past year. Not quite 24/7, but almost! [>:]

Jumping on the bandwagon. I downloaded the patch and applied it no issues and (so far) fired up the East Front side of things and no issues.

It's okay to play in Windowed mode, and I'd like to try full screen at one point but so far everything looks and works great.

Love all the new icons on the bottom.

Thanks to all involved for making this JTCS patch possible. I've been toying around with it, its pretty cool so far.
No crashes or problems in East Front. Haven't tried West Front or Rising Sun yet. More comments later I'm sure.

Warhorse: Hey Mike the 2D icons are very well done, nice job bud![;)]

Cheers All!

Finally got around to installing this on my new custom built Windows 7 64-bit computer. Had to install 2008 C++ Redistributable in order to launch.

Looks incredible...well done to all involved!

I also found it interesting that the old 1.04 patch is 33Meg heavier than 2.00.

That's alot of extra junk purged!

I just wanted to add my thanks to everyone that worked on this.

I just installed JT's Campaign Series (the first time it's been installed on this computer), and then the 2.0 update. It worked like a charm.

I had the original East Front and West Front before buying the Matrix Edition back in 2007. So this is a walk down memory lane for me.

Thanks again for all the hard work!
