+1

Enjoy... Awaiting you opinion since you didn't like COH and I did; I really got an itch for something new.

This or Storm of Steel with a discount?[&:]

As the designer, I can tell you all that aside from scale LnL is nothing like the CoH board game. I've never played the computer game.
World at War: Revelation, a creepy, military action, alternate history, World War Three novel. At Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (http://tinyurl.com/mcgcht8). Only $3.99. What the hell?

I'm impressed. I'd take this every day over Storm of Steel discount or no. Alot more depth than I imagined with lots of choices for a unit rather than just move or shoot and play the odd card like COH. Looks wise it's perfect to be honest. Also it's one of those games that creates a narrative, something I found lacking in COH. A great design and I would recommend it.

My one and only criticism is too many multiplayer scenarios only. I feel if you make a multiplayer scenario you should make a single player version aswell. I'm hoping the game gets lots more single player scenarios to help keep the game on my hard drive.

Ok I got the game, not sure when I will be able to read enough to play (or maybe I should just jump in and see what happens)

Not sure I should have purchased but to be honest when I saw the screenshots it took me back many years to Squad Leader etc board games I just had to have it for old times sake. I guess a little time will tell if worth it.

BTW I see reference in one of the threads to version 1.06 but the game loaded at version 1.01 and only let me upgrade to version 1.02 I assume 1.06 hasn't actually been released?

I also had to order the physical copy because I'm old fashioned, although I know it won't ship out for a few days.

1.06 is not released yet.

Yeah, I'm just commenting on what's fixed in 1.06 so people don't worry about us missing something or spend a lot of time writing up details/gathering info for something that's already taken care of.
