abandoned vehicle

Post by jcrohio »

Playing this afternoon - forced a Russian tank to abandon but then could not get past the abandoned tank with my tanks. I know a wreck counts as one vehicle for stacking and the max is 2. I would have assumed abandoned vehicles also counts as one so you could move a tank through the hex of the enemy abandoned vehicle.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks

They were originally but later they were gone - regardless stacking limits are 3 suqads, 2 vehicles, and 2 SMC so the crew should not have been a problem.
Thanks k9mike. How are you doing with the game. I am really enjoying it. Getting more comfortable with it. Only have tried the scenarios - no campaigns yet.

Have fun
Jack

k9mike - thought of something that has really helped me - found a couple of charts over at boardgamegeek - one in particular called Band of Heroes (summary) - full color - has all kinds of info packed on two pages - keep it up on my second monitor

If the tank was abandoned, and there were no Russian units in the hex, you should have been able to move through it. Sounds like a bug. Can you send a saved game to Tom or I? I'm markw@lnlpublishingdotcom

The game autosaves every impulse. I t might be in there. Maybe look for it by date...
