I know this has been asked before. I have searched the forum but could not really find a anything, so here goes. FO's preferred mode of transportation? I am playing the Germans.

Hi Top:

I always use a 253 Beob and use them as a tandem pair. I put one in harms way by giving it a direct observation role and the other in cover in a supporting role in the same vacinity. If I lose one I have the other as a back up.

Of course the Russian Air Force always seems to find them. I strongly believe there is a little gnome in the AI that knows EXCATLY where my FO's are and calls in air support...

Of course, you and I know that the best FO's are MARINE FO's...

Thats weird, my FO's almost NEVER get discovered. I have had them littarally surrounded by enemy troops and not get discovered. I use a kubelwagon to move them around when I play as the Germans. But if you use a Kubelwagon, there is a bug sometimes. When you unload your FO's, sometimes you get a anti-tank pillbox that unloads off your kubelwagon with the FO's.

I have a somewhat related question. I prefer the 250 Beob, assuming that's the one that is hard-topped. Not only is it's size only a 1, but it being hard-topped helps, but the problem is, that it's only available till late '41 I believe, not the entire war in any case. If you're campaigning and it's '44 and the 250 is destroyed, can you 'fix' it, thereby enabling to use it throughout?

You should be able to continue fixing it as long as it was originally purchased prior to it's "expiration" date, although I haven't personally tested this.
Grab them by the balls. Their hearts and minds will follow.
