Scenario recommendations.

Get ready for Mark H. Walker's Lock ‘n Load: Heroes of Stalingrad. This is the first complete computer game in the Lock ‘n Load series, covering the battles in and around Stalingrad during World War II.

Scenario recommendations.

I have completed the tutorials and the A Partisan Defense scenario. Is there a recommended progression of scenarios to get used to the game before hitting one of the more difficult scenarios?
Thanks for any opinions.

Try "Room at the Inn". Good scenario, lots of ways to do it.

but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

Thanks guys, I am in the same boat as Storm and was pondering the situation as he was.

Chemkid, was that 20 plays as the same side? After the first time, when you know the forces against you and their location its almost as if you had a WWII drone flying over the battlefield.

On my second try with Partisan Defense. Learned quickly how bad I sucked but catching on (hopefully) the second time. Fun game. :-)

Tip: Snipers get doubled terrain bonus against everything but mortars, so either kill them in Melee or use the mortar on them.

ORIGINAL: chemkid

i was playing the partisan side - i don't change sides no more, have a look here:

fb.asp?m=3551167

of course, i know where the enemy is and after i while you'll also know his moves... but i don't care.

after completing all tasks for 'Ambush!' in the first turn -
(ok, the 2 squads left in the 2nd turn...) i left the scenario for 'The River'.

chem!

I take it your favorite movie would be - Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. [:D]
