Options not in game but in manual..

Counter Pop-up Info On/Off:
?Auto-select Stacked On/Off:
Move Cost Shown Yes/No

The Pop up option sounds great...is this pop up detail default as I'm not sure I've seen it.

Also can scenarios get reinforcements during play?

Yes some scenarios have reinforcements showing up during play. This can be done in the editor as well.

These are all 'on' now, the options eventually seemed unnecessary.

Counter Pop-up Info is the stats that pop up when you hover over a counter on the side of the screen, with FP, MV, armor data and all that.

Auto-select Stacked was a 'new' option at one point in development but everybody played with it on in the end (this is how it is now - you click on a hex and bam, everyone is selected). I think Mark was the last hold out. [:'(]

Move Cost shown are the little numbers on the move paths - also a thing that was new at one point and is now just how it is for everyone since everyone got used to it.

I think Mark was the last hold out.

I still end up deselecting a unit 70-75% of the time.
