Playing CP SP 1914 right now (jan 1915). For those (not I) concerned about AI turn speed, they should be satisfied. So far I feel the PP is the best yet. Turkey is about where it should be, I'd have to admit, mind you, I "really" like playing Turkey (miss my Turk infantry on the Russian border[:(]. For some reason the AI navy seems to be more cunning up around England, also the AI navy seems to be hitting harder, In other words, I am giving them a little more respect. No 2 games are exactly alike. Out of the FOW are appearing a lot more AI French and English small garrisons, which can be a PITA. The interaction of land combat seems to be much like the prior patch (1.4.1). The Blockade message comes up, without a hitch. Convoys still shoot the Baltic and without protection they get sunk. Question: Do sunk convoys count towards MP loss? Had to let go some Tech categories to keep 20 PP on average German and Austrian, Turkey at 14 PP. British are more aggressive at the Sinai at present. Without a lot of AAR stuff, this is what I am seeing so far, "Good job".

If anybody else has an opinion, jump right in and make a post!

Many thanks for feedback operating [;)]

Sorry about your Turkish Infantry on the Russian border, but most feedback felt that Turkey was to strong, and this has been tweaked,Turkey is now the weakest link for the Central Powers, while testing this latest patch,I felt the game played extremely well, but its pretty hard to try and allow, for gamer's different style of play.[:)]

The French cruiser south of Italy is destroyed every game - the AH navy cannot be stopped from taking it out [&:]

The French cruiser at the heel of Italy,is there as a quick movement to blockade the Adriatic, and await reinforcements from Toulon etc,in the naval game now, you can't just rush in near the enemies green dot area, where possible stay outside the enemy green dot area, let them come to you, battles are then fought as per the units strenghts, and not with the added defense bonuses of near port areas.By positioning the French cruiser at the entrance,as in the photo it will take damage if challenged, but it will survive.

No - the French cruiser is destroyed before it has a chance to move. Simply send the three AH units to where it starts and kill it.

The point is it never gets the chance to move to the position you show.

Ah I see your the Central Powers, before release I was hoping to have Pre-Dreadnoughts & Destroyers in game, but I was adding to much at once, and changing things to drastically.I had a Pre-dreadnought in the cruisers position, and to be honest I should have put the French Battleship there, its a very easy fix,but I think it will have to wait until 1.50 patch,or maybe we could do a hot fix,and position the much stronger Battleship in the cruisers position.[:)]

I have changed it Battleship now in Cruisers starting position![:)]

Found SS, where you directed. Can't figure how to convert selected SS to embed into post, get a message saying it is not supported, will not upload. You mentioned something about converting SS to jegp (? sp), How is that done? That could be where I'm getting tripped up. Right clicking the image does not give an option to do that, that makes sense to me.

Maybe there should be a thread upstairs named "Screen Shots for Dummies".

Thanks for the patch. Seems to be running well. AI is still slow (but I am near the minimum suggested RAM). One question ... I am playing CP in the 1914 scenario. Currently in turn 10. The AH military is spending 0 (yes, zero) PP per turn for unit maintenance, as it has for the whole game. Is this a bug or a feature?

Hi amtrick, the free upkeep is not a bug its a feature at the moment. From the game's release the free upkeep is a flawed system,it should be Country specific, and not one size fits all, because it certainly does not,it only benefits small Countries, who only need a limited amount of land forces in play at any one time, where as large Countries like Russia for example, need many more land forces in play to protect all their borders. The free upkeep has been raised to give Countries like Russia a chance to protect it self, without having crippling upkeep costs.

In game each Country has individual Production points,Man power levels and income based on the number of Cities within their borders,I'm hoping in the next patch, to make the free upkeep allowance, much more individual Country based.[;)]
