Question on MapMaker

Post by rickier65 »

I'm working with a map that has 10m contours. I haven't drawn any elevation layers yet. I was able to set my base elevation, but it doesn't allow me to change my contour interval (meters per altitude layer).

Is this fixed at 20m?

I'm working with MapMaker version 4.6.273
Thanks
Rick

You change the metres per  altitude via the Map->Data menu. This opens the Map Data screen and it has a field there you can change. It will warn you that this can't be undone ( so do a Save As on your map first). Now I did note that after this it doesn't refresh the height values in the Altitudes section of map side panel and this may be what's confusing you. However, if you save your adjusted amp and reopen it the new values will be reflected in the side panel.

That's where I'm trying to change it. As soon as i type anything into that field, the OK button is greyed out and no longer active. I was able to change the base layer elevation, but not the meters per altitude layer.

But thanks,
Rick

Rick,

I have updated the map for you. Looks like you've hit one of the hard caps we have in place in the public version of MapMaker.

Rick,

Thanks Miquel, after posting it occurred to me that maybe I was running into a problem because of the width and height values being validated. I'll grab your update and carry on.

Thanks!
