Campaign Core Forces

Post by Tazak »

Just curious, but would the game engine handle having both NATO and WP forces set as core forces or would throw a wobbly fit??

My guess might be a fit. The camps are single sided from the outset, but you may be able to make one scenario with core that works for both sides in a separate camp for both sides. Never tried. Let us know if it works.[&:]

Many times the operational area contains the same opponents for a series of fights. I thought about trying to have two stable opponents square off in a campaign where both sides forces remained basically the same. The problem is going to be bringing forces forward from one battle to the next. The campaign will only bring one sides forces forward. You will have to program the other sides forces to move forward.

Example: If you have a US campaign it will automatically bring US forces forward from one battle to the next. You would have to plug in the Soviet forces you think will survive and their losses as such. It may well track their losses, etc. though.

Good Hunting.
