Sicily to Brenner Pass PBEM Klink vs LGF

Colonel Klink and I have been playing the Sicily to Brenner Pass PBEM for about 8 turns now and Klaus ( Klink ) suggested that we
ought to separate out the PBEM game into it's own AAR instead of just continuing w/ the non-PBEM game stuff in the other Sicily
thread. So here it is. Klaus is the Germans and I'm the Allies and this is the beginning of turn 8. Fierce German counterattacks have
isolated one of my units on the east end of the lines. I'm going to have to see if I can save it. This is going to turn out to be a really long
game I predict.

Here's the West end of the front lines. I'm getting ready to be outflanked by the German units. Attacks from these people are frequent.
It's a real trouble spot. This match is a good one because Klaus is a serious player. He plays well.

I've mashed out a Pbem version, I think. If you guys would like to test it that would be great. Lots of event changes, I checked everything as best I could. I'm very interested in the amount of German Sea Transport (is there enough to reasonably get the German units off Sicily and back to the mainland).

Also curious about the 90.PzGr Div, there were multiple formations and many events for this Div and now they've all been changed or deleted. The idea is that this formation started on Sardinia, moved to Corsica, then jumped to the mainland. So I'm hoping the German Human player can still do this. The 90.PzGr wasn't that important on Sardinia or Corsica, it generally left before any serious fighting. But it was very importnt on the mainland later.

I think we're sufficiently close to the beginning of the game that we could successfully start over. I mean
I'm game if Klaus is. I've downloaded the PBEM version and I'm ready to go.

Here's the front lines at the beginning of T9. I saw Klaus bringing some troops to Sicily from the mainland and that can't be anything
good. This is going to be a long war.

As you can see the supply level is way too low to sustain combat at the northwest end of the East side front lines. I'm not sure what to do
about that. Nothing I guess. This game may be a nonstarter and we may be going nowhere fast.

Here's the West side of the front lines. The supply level here is so low that the units have to save up supply to attack or move. It might
take until turn 50 to get off this island.

Well sports fans, I've got news. Klaus and I discussed it ( via email ) and we've decided that this scenario
( the one that isn't yet PBEM ready not the new one where it is ) is going nowhere and that we didn't want
to try Sicily to Brenner Pass this time. Klaus suggested Last Stand in Africa which I've never
heard of before this and Klaus is more experienced w/ TOAW than I am, I'm guessing here, and so I
guess that's what will happen in the near future. Thanks for reading this thing this far. I appreciate it.
