FPC Limitations

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

Yes, all of them please...

All of NATO, the Warsaw Pact, Vietnam War, Falklands War, Middle East Wars, WWII, Korea past and present...all of them. In due time. We need to sleep and eat somewhere in here too. [>:]

Good Hunting.

Sleeping and eating is for wimps..casual game developers..not hardcore top of the line wargame developers:)

What about Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia, Italy?

Just thinking out loud here. [:D]

Good Hunting.

Would love to see Italian mountain troops and airborne plus the USMC vs. Hungarian and Soviets in Yugoslavia.

The Yugoslav military was a unique beast as it was designed to fight both NATO and the WP through decentralized warfare (Tito style)

After we release the 2.04 update in a handful of weeks we will start to talk a bit more about the go forward plans of the system. What we can say is we are working with Matrix/Slitherine with respect to our planning and roadmap. We are looking at where we can improve the look and feel of the game within the time and resource parameters we have available too. We are also looking at what we want to add to the systems and also taking into account the wish list items from many of you guys into the plan as well. A good number of wish list items have already been added or will be with 2.04 (such as improved Sudden Death and a more cohesive Fog of War accounting) and a number of the big ones will be on the plate for 2.1's engine.

With 3 of the 4 Mod Guides out and work on the 4th on in progress for a release target at the end of this month, we expect more 3rd party stuff of all flavors to pop up as more people dabble in the modding arts.

We are still collecting and working on a few bugs that pop up. We will continue to address bug reports as they come up and after the 2.04 Update we will fix bugs and release fix only updates as needed while we focus work on 2.1.

Hopefully a bit more info here to let you know what is on tap for the near future. Enjoy 2.03a when it hits the servers. [8D]
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Nothing is stopping the community from creating new OOB/TOE for new countries or other eras.

And we need user created scenarios, art, maps, etc.

Can't expect the devs to do everything for us can we? [:D]
