warheads and SA value. Is there a simple formula?

Post by WABAC »

The older planes I am working on carried a 5" HVAR rocket. According to wikipedia the war head weighed 45.5 pounds (20.6 kg) and the filling was 7.5 pounds (3.4 kg) of TNT or Composition B.

Is there a simple formula for converting that?

Please. And thank you.

I have a formula handy for SAM warheads SA value for explosive warhead weight in kgs. I'll have to see what I have for arty/rockets and that will take some digging.
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

At your convenience Capn. I have plenty to do before I finish the planes.
