trouble with 1.03 patch Civil War II

Post by jkile »

I posted within CWII site and a couple of people tried to help, but I probally screwed up also!!!

Basically I tried patching 1.03 to original game, but it told me no-go/no software; I read posts here and Ageod forums, and tried suggestions, downloaded 1.02 patch which allowed 1.03 to go forward; but didn't work!!! I found a separate file that downloaded for 1.03 patch totally separate from game, tried to put in the game folder but am sure not right, because every launch says 1.01 still. I saw posts of re-installing original game and then patches, which is most likely needed now, but in my matrix site account, 50% of my registered games have more downloads available and rest don't; and CWII is one of the don'ts.

So, I need someone to give me another download for original game, so I can re-install everything, to see if that works. Hopefully waiting,

JMK

PS I can supply whatever verification needed

As I told you, this is the right place, don't worry. Good luck [:)]

Erik, Ian or someone else official should see this and help you.

Hi,

When you start to install the patch it will have a screen asking if you want to install Alea Jacta Est v1.03c, its a typo... click yes instead of no/cancel. Just make sure you have the directory listed where you installed CW2 originally. I initially clicked no/cancel because I already had AJE 1.03c intalled and ran into the same problem of CW2 still being v1.1. but CW2 is working fine with the update without a reinstall.
