Problem suspect pwhex issue

Post by RogerJNeilson »

I have just had a replay back from my opponent in which I have been informed a unit of mine was wiped out by attrition in hex XX,XX, and that several other units are retreating from that hex.

The problem is that although the unit mentioned shows up as eliminated in the destroyed units list in my intel report, neither it, nor the other units were in that hex, or moving to in, though they all are in an adjacent hex.

There is no indication that a combat occurred in the hex - normally the crossed sword icon would show combat....

Last move I had a crossed sword icon in another hex, behind my lines, where no combat had occurred....

I suspect we have a map inconsistency, both patched to the latest beta, I'm the allied side.

Any thoughts guys? I suspect my opponent patched before running the turn two or three moves ago, rather than after he had run the turn and before he input his orders....

Ok no-one has any responses....

Simplifying this, how can we check we both have the same pwhex data installed?

If you have different pwhex files, you should get a warning message when the save is loaded from memory

Ok, no warning message.

Must be 'just one of those things'
