squirmer takes the Kats....

M4 Jess has his baby's:D

Massive tank fight!

No Arty, no Infantry, only Tanks!
(anything from the Armor page)
(I could not buy a Battle Group or a Armored Cav unit, because these units have Infantry type units attached)

20K, Xtra Large Map, 35 LOS, 30 Turns, Weather Clear at Noon.

This is something else. I have 166 AFVS, Jess must have more!

Map is random and 100x160 in size. The usual mix of hills, woods etc. VHs are end of battle and not worth much in comparison to the forces arrayed.

I could have been lame and just bought as many KTs as possible with the points. I didn't do that but it's still a formidable force.

Jess is a brave man, even with APCR ammo

Damage to US vanguard in south and centre. 2 Hellcats, 2 Scotts and 1 Greyhound die. Most of this by boring old Pz IVs ...

That only leaves about 250 US tanks to go (at a guess)!

No signs of Big Katz.....

Jess did well on his turn. Four Pz IVs died in exchange for 5 more US tanks. The Germans came back with a vengeance though with hidden TDs doing a fair amount of damage as well as the offensive Panther and Pz IV squadrons.

I'm a little bit worried since all I've seen so far are Greyhounds, Scotts, M4 105mms and Hellcats. That means the more dangerous beasties are still all hiding.

It most certainly is cool!

Once again Jess did well on this turn, with honours about even ... And once again Germans do well on their turn. Especially with the Big Katz managing to take out 2 Jacksons which were lurking in the suburbs of a town to the US rear.

M4s (or M26s) win a turn. Pershings gang up on exposed Kingtigers and eventually get two side hits. Nice one

Jagdtigers have finally reached their forward firing positions. Shame they can't hit jack ...

The trade balance definitely moved back towards Jerry this go.
